Make up So having looked at the make up do's - what about the don'ts? According to make up artist Neale Pirie (who's job it is to make glam girls like Kate Moss and the Liberty X ladies look gorgeous) make up don't-even-go-there's don't come any bigger than these: Tide marks "After choosing the right colour foundation or tinted moisturiser for your skin, make sure you blend it all the way in down into your neck. There's nothing worse than an obvious line between your base and your natural skin tone so remember to blend. This is one of the most common make up mistakes but with a bit of care it's one that's easy to avoid." Black panda eyes "Too much heavy eyeliner, shadow or mascara looks yucky on young skin. It looks heavy and messy and is a pain to clean off afterwards, Instead, apply slowly and carefully; it's easier to add more makeup if you need to rather than clean it off when it gets too much." Stripy blusher "Blending is vital if you want something to look as if it belongs on your face rather than as if it was painted on." Not removing your make up before bed "The ultimate sin when it comes to make up. Great make up happens when you've got great skin so if you cleanse, tone and moisturise before bed you'll be giving your skin a much needed chance to breathe. Get into good habits early (and help you skin stay in better condition for longer) by ALWAYS cleaning your make up off properly.
